Becoming a Beachbody Coach is Quite an Adventure!

Okay, so it's been a while since I posted on here, mainly because my life has been a topsy turvy roller coaster for the past few years! I am always looking for ways to improve who I am and how I live my life. I read personal development books all the time, look for mentors and ways to make myself better, and try to work on achieving my goals in every area of my life. The past few years I have started fostering dogs for Texas Cattle Dog Rescue, dabbled in selling insurance and investments, and continued to fight the good fight of getting into shape and eating healthy. Last year I started doing a running workout 3-4 days a week. In June. Throughout the hottest Texas summer weather, I went to the track in town and ran. I worked hard and tried to stay focused, but I did not lose any weight! Ugh that's the biggest frustration, isn't it! I was very consistent until the fall and then I started to slack off and changed my focus to other things... hunting and archery and dogs. But I still continued to look for inspiration on getting in shape. That's when I found this Beachbody coach on Facebook. Her name is Kim and her FB business page is Chickfitkim. I started following her and reading her posts every day. Wow--she didn't get in shape until after she turned 40! She was having similar problems to the ones I was experiencing--what used to work to lose a few pounds wasn't cutting it any longer! It took me until March to finally hold my hand up and say, "Hey Kim, what did you do to get yourself to stick with it until you started to see a change?" And a friendship was begun in that sentence! So boys and girls, if you want to change your life for the better, keep your heart open to all that comes. You might find motivation on Facebook, from a movie, or maybe even from holding up your hand and asking a question! I'm super excited for all that Beachbody represents! I hope you'll join me on this adventure! Time to work! Shellgirl
