Today is June 12th. I think that my poinsettia is officially 6 months old! I took the pic last month; it still looks basically the same. There are some shoots growing out on some of the empty stems and some small green leaves coming out on them. How long will it last? We're gonna find out!
OMG! You might make it to Christmas 2009 LOL! How awesome is that?!? I definitely do NOT have a green thumb. Anything green and living runs screaming in the opposite direction when it sees me coming. I don't know what it is either...you would think I could keep something green alive having grown up on a farm and having to tend plants ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper!
